Things to visit in Dambach la Ville - In our estate: courtyard with our half-timbered house built in 1784, the well built in 1766, a small exhibition about the life of the wine- growers in days gone by. - The medieval village of Dambach with its houses from different centuries, its narrow back streets, its granite stone village walls and 3 huge gates built in 132, etc. - Hiking on clearly signposted footpaths in the wineyards and forests above the village : a wine path through the hills covered of vines, paths towards the two castles Bernstein and Ortenberg etc. - Dambach is a popular starting point for cycling or driving along the "Wine Route", for visiting Strasbourg and Colmar, the "Ecomusée d'Alsace", the Rhine etc. - In July and August, you can take part to guided visits of Dambach on friday and to wine-fests the week-ends.

Group visits: privately or through a travel agency We organise visits of the winery followed by a commented winetasting of 5 or 6 different wines for groups. You can also have Kougelhopf cake with the wine. Please contact us long enough in advance to ask for the price and make a reservation. We have space for 50 people from May to October and 20 people during winter.

Wine tasting for individuals in Florian's winery There is no better way of tasting wine than in the winery, in the company of the wine grower himself, whilst discovering part of the local environment! Whether you are traveling alone or together with friends or family, we will be happy to welcome you personnaly to our winery at any time of the year. You can taste our wines and we will provide commentaries of them for you in French, German, English or Spanish. The wine- tasting is free. Children are very welcome, and receive special attention! You can buy some of my wine directly from the winery.
Where to eat and to sleep in Dambach Two hotels, many holiday-homes (gîtes ruraux) and B&B's and a campsite will charm you with their sense of hospitality. You can taste the wide range of tasty local food in a few small restaurants: La Vignette, L'Arbre Vert.

Ideally located in the middle of Alsace, between Colmar and Strasbourg, Dambach la Ville is easily reached by car, bike or train. Nearest airports : Strasbourg, Basel-Mulhouse, Frankfurt am Main.
