In May, larger flower-plants grow freely in my vineyards. They are visited by the bees and other small animals.
autumn 2010 : fruits of spindletrees in the hays which border our Auxerrois-vineyard.
Michel and Florian are picking Pinot Noir grapes
The most delicate to pick are the grapes of Gewurztraminer Vendanges Tardives (late harvest) : the berries are very fragile, their skin is thin. Only the hands of our grape pickers can do it well.
March and April : Yvette bends the branches into the form of a bow and ties them up.
All our grapes are picked by hand by a team of grape pickers. Here is the 2011 team, with Michel, Maya, Florian and Yvette.
2015 spring and summer : We are happy to welcome our visitors for tours of the winery and wine-tasting. Please let us know you're coming by phone or e-mail if possible. Why not read the newspaper article about our Grand Cru Frankstein and the recent articles about Florian on the " press and wine guides" page.
9 june 2013: the visit of our organic vine yards following Geneviève Wendelski who told us a story about protection of earth, air and water.
Florian lets grow the natural vegetation in his vineyards and flattens it down with a rolofaca when it is mature to keep the soil covered.
2013 Auxerrois grapes : small, very tastefull berries All my grapes are picked by hand.
October 2014:Florian and his team of grape-pickers in a Gewurztraminer vine. All our grapes are picked by hand and the grapes are poured entire into the wine-press.
